Tezos is one of the longest running Proof-of-Stake blockchains, meaning it not only safes energy - but also money for you. Transaction fees are as low as 10 cents, a fraction of what you have to pay on the Ethereum blockchain.
Recently Tezos also implemented the powerful FA2 token standard, which supports a wide range of tokens (NFTs, fungible tokens, non-transferable, etc.) similar to Ethereum's ERC-1155.
This unified contract is so powerful that even the biggest NFT marketplace OpenSea announced it will support Tezos in the near future.
This not only shows the potential the Tezos blockchain has but will likely lead to an increase in popularity for Tezos NFTs. So definitely something you should keep an eye on!
As for all my marketplace reviews I like to refer to my entire list of NFT marketplaces including commissions, royalties, supported wallets and much more. You will find marketplaces from almost any NFT supporting blockchain and can compare their features to find the one that is best suited for you as an artist or collector.
If you are only interested in the Tezos blockchain here is list of the 4 best NFT marketplaces:
1. Hic et Nunc
Hic et Nunc is probably the most popular marketplace on Tezos right now. The marketplace is open for anyone to join and mint NFTs. Generally Hic et Nunc has a great unique design to it, making navigation easy and user friendly.
On the other hand the minimalist layout also comes at the price of some features. The search feature for example is limited to a few tags and can be confusing to beginners.

Otherwise Hic et Nunc offers all the basic functionality you need to start out:
Mint OBJKTs
Search NFTs after name or categories
Manage assets
Buy/ sell NFTs
Furthermore they offer good support for a variety of Tezos wallets and good wallet is always important to have:

Spire
Temple Wallet
Galleon
Kukai Wallet
Umami
AirGap Wallet

2. OBJKT
OBJKT is the largest marketplace on Tezos right now and essentially the “fancy” version of Hic et Nunc. Their design is a little more advanced, offering more features to their users.
Generally the platform is more user oriented. You can see historical listings of NFTs and even follow transactions happening on the platform in real time.
OBJKTs main features include:
Minting (through Hic et Nunc)
Buying/ Selling (Listings and auctions)
Statistics (Historical prices, Top sellers, etc.)
Featured collections
Like Hic et Nunc OBJKT also uses the Beacon SDK to let users connect their Tezos wallets which means a great amount of wallets is supported with more to come:
Spire
Temple Wallet
Galleon
Kukai Wallet
Umami
AirGap Wallet

3. Kalamint
If you are looking for an NFT marketplace with high quality artworks Kalamint is for you. Similar to SuperRare the marketplace is curated and artists can only mint and sell their work after going through an application process (takes about 48h). This means there are less NFTs available on Kalamint but the quality of the artworks are generally higher.
If you get accepted as an artist, minting is around 10-30 cents per piece. Kalamint is still in beta, however they already offer the most important features:
Minting/ Selling (as a selected artist)
Buying/ Reselling (Listings and auctions)
Drops
Kalamint again uses Beacon to support a variety of wallets. Right now they recommend to use one of the following wallets:
Temple Wallet
Spire
Galleon
Kukai Wallet

4. OneOf
OneOf is an NFT marketplace specialized in the music industry. Their vision is to connect artists with their fans through NFTs. Among their partners are famous names like the rapper The Game, Doja Cat, John Legend or Alesso. Fans can check out the latest drops of their favorite artists or buy and sell their NFTs on the secondary marketplace.
Some of the NFTs go beyond the digital world and owning them can give you exclusive access to events, discord servers, meet and greets, etc.
OneOf’s main features are:
NFT Drops
Buy/ Resell on secondary market
Exclusive experiences beyond the digital asset
Included wallet

Conclusion & direct comparison
In my opinion Tezos is a great blockchain for NFTs. With the new token standard and the coming support for OpenSea I believe the blockchain will see some gains in popularity for its NFTs. Unlike many other blockchains Tezos already has a variety of different marketplaces with NFT support.
If you still can’t decide which marketplaces to sign up for, here is a quick side by side comparison of the most important features, let me know in the comments what features are most important to you when signing up to a new marketplace!
